Scott Egan, Chief Executive Officer

Scott Egan is Chief Executive Officer at SiriusPoint, having joined the company in September 2022.

Most recently the Chief Executive of Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) UK & International, and a FTSE 100 board director for six years, Scott brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience to SiriusPoint.

Scott served on the Board of RSA Group PLC for six years, formerly as CFO and latterly as CEO of its UK and International business. He has held senior positions at a number of companies including Aviva, Zurich Financial Services, Brit Insurance and Towergate Broking.

Scott has a range of experience working across large domestic and international corporates, as well as private-equity backed businesses. He brings deep knowledge across retail financial services, and specific expertise in risk management and financial management.

Scott holds an MBA from Cranfield University and is a qualified accountant.

Karen Caddick, Chief Human Resources Officer

Karen Caddick is SiriusPoint's Chief Human Resources Officer.

Karen most recently held the position of Group HR Director at Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) and was a member of the Group RSA Executive team where she led the development and implementation of the company’s human capital strategy.

Throughout her career, Karen has held a variety of Group Human Resources Director roles, including at Saga plc., Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc., WM Morrisons Plc., Punch Taverns Plc and Spirit Pub Company Plc., The Financial Times and Channel Five Broadcasting Ltd. She began her career working in financial services where she held senior HR positions at both RSA and Barclays Bank.

Karen graduated from Glasgow University in 1991 with an MA (hons) in History and is ACII and FCIPD qualified. Karen is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Howden Joinery Plc. Board.

Patrick Charles, Global Head of Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance & Services

Patrick Charles is Global Head of Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance & Services.

Patrick joined SiriusPoint in September 2021 as Head of Americas P&C Insurance to manage and grow the Company’s US P&C insurance business. He is responsible for the expansion of SiriusPoint’s strategic partnerships, development of products and services to support new and existing partnerships, execution of the Company’s global strategy and delivery of financial commitments for P&C insurance. Patrick’s role as Global Head of P&C Insurance & Services reflects his contribution to driving the growth of the Company’s P&C insurance business worldwide.

Patrick serves as a Board Member for a number of companies in the SiriusPoint strategic partnerships portfolio, within the Company’s Insurance & Services segment. These include Arcadian, Banyan Risk and Parameter Climate. Patrick joined SiriusPoint from Zurich Insurance Group, where he held North American leadership roles in underwriting and strategy spanning the past decade. During his previous 20+ years in the insurance industry, Patrick spent time at McKinsey & Company, Alliance Bernstein and the St. Paul Companies. He began his career as an actuary and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Dhruv Gahlaut, Head of Investor Relations and Chief Strategy Officer

Dhruv Gahlaut is SiriusPoint’s Head of Investor Relations and Chief Strategy Officer.

Dhruv has over 15 years’ experience in the global financial sector, with roles spanning across the insurance industry and equity research.

Dhruv has held roles at both life and non-life global insurers, working with the likes of Legal & General, Resolution Life, and RSA Insurance. His roles encompassed strategy, performance management, financial planning and analysis, regulatory reporting and investor engagement.

During equity research, Dhruv gained deep understanding of various business models and equity stories across the financial sector. He was highly ranked by the buy-side and has written extensively on key themes in the European financial sector. Dhruv left HSBC in 2019, where he was Co-Head of the team and was involved in multiple corporate market events.

Dhruv is a CFA Charterholder, and holds both an actuarial science diploma and an undergraduate degree in economics.

Rob Gibbs, President & CEO, SiriusPoint International

Rob Gibbs joined the Company in December 2022 as President & CEO, SiriusPoint International. He is based in London and is part of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team. (This position is subject to regulatory approval.)

An Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), Rob’s career in re/insurance spans two decades in various underwriting and management positions with RSA.

Prior to joining SiriusPoint International, Rob was Commercial Managing Director of RSA in the UK for just over three years. His achievements in that role include creating a single strong and profitable Commercial Lines business and leading the U.K. Corporate business to be considered ‘best in class’ at People & Partnerships, providing exceptional service and solutions to RSA’s commercial insurance customers. He also served on the board of RSA’s Reinsurance company.

Rob’s previous roles at the firm include Motability Director, Director Southern Regions, UK Mid-Market Managing Director, Profitability and Strategy Director UK Mid-Market, New Business Manager RSA Corporate and London Market Underwriter.

David Govrin, Global President and Chief Underwriting Officer

David Govrin is SiriusPoint’s Global President and Chief Underwriting Officer.

David brings 32 years’ industry experience to the SiriusPoint leadership team. He has a diverse background having split his career in various roles on the advisory side of the industry and risk taking across a range of products and sectors. His background includes reinsurance brokerage, investment banking, capital markets, private equity, and underwriting.

David has served in a variety of senior positions at Third Point Reinsurance and was most recently President of Third Point Reinsurance (USA) Ltd., a position he held since May 2019. He also served as Head of Business Development of Third Point Reinsurance, and began at Third Point Re in April 2017 as an Executive Vice President, Underwriting.

Prior to joining Third Point Re, he was a Vice President in Berkshire Hathaway’s Reinsurance Group for seven years and a key member of the underwriting team. Before joining Berkshire, David founded Hudson Insurance Capital Partners in 2007, a specialty insurance-focused private equity fund, and Sierra Re Advisors, a boutique reinsurance intermediary.

Prior to forming Sierra in 2006, David built his reinsurance career at Goldman Sachs (1997 - 2002) and Guy Carpenter (1989 - 1997), in addition to Citigroup and Ritchie Capital Management.

Before entering the reinsurance business in 1989, David spent three years in fixed income at Dean Witter Reynolds and began his career in 1985 as a commercial credit analyst at Horizon Bank.

David holds a BSBA in finance/real estate from the University of Denver, and an MBA in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Andreas Kull, Chief Risk Officer

Andreas brings over 20 years of experience in risk management and actuarial roles in the global property and casualty and life (re)insurance industry.

Prior to joining SiriusPoint, Andreas was the Chief Risk Officer of Bernina Re, an ILS reinsurer. As a member of the Executive Team, he led the enterprise risk management team and oversaw the build-up and development of the risk management and modelling functions.

Prior to Bernina Re, Andreas served as Chief Risk Officer and Executive Team member at Tokio Millennium Re, leading a global risk management and actuarial team. Before that he held the Chief Risk Officer position at AXA Winterthur. Andreas also has experience as an executive director at EY's Financial Services Risk Management practice, and has held risk management and actuarial roles at Converium (now Scor) and Zurich Insurance.

Based in Zurich, Andreas is a qualified actuary with CERA designation. He holds a PhD in Physics from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Bern.

Tom Leonardo, SVP and US Head of Accident & Health

Tom Leonardo is SiriusPoint’s SVP and US Head of Accident & Health and has worked in the group life and health industry since 1994, specializing in underwriting, pricing, and management of all aspects of accident and health insurance.

Tom joined from Sirius Group, where he was US Head of Accident and Health. Tom joined Sirius Group in 2012, with responsibility for launching the Sirius America initiative, whose primary goal was to move into the issuing carrier market while focusing on Employer Stop Loss and Special Risk business underwritten by managing general underwriters.

Tom began his insurance career in 1994 with Paul Revere Insurance Company, before moving to General Re as Assistant Vice President in 1996. In 2005, he joined ACE Tempest Re USA as Vice President, and then joined QBE the Americas in 2006 as Vice President. Before joining Sirius Group, Tom served as Chief Executive Officer of HRMP.

Stuart Liddell, Global President of Accident & Health

As part of the underwriting leadership team at SiriusPoint, Stuart Liddell is Global President of Accident & Health.

With over 30 years’ experience in the industry, Stuart is responsible for insurance and reinsurance in SiriusPoint's Accident & Health segment. Leading an international team, Stuart is instrumental in identifying and creating opportunities to develop SiriusPoint’s A&H business worldwide.

Before the Sirius Group and Third Point Re merger, Stuart was Global Head of Life, Accident and Health at Sirius, joining the company in 2002. Previously, Stuart was an Accident and Health underwriter at several Lloyd’s syndicates.

Stuart began his career as an A&H broker with Hogg, Robinson, Gardner and Mountain in 1989.

Stuart has a degree in Politics from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Darryl Siry, Chief Technology Officer

Darryl is Chief Technology Officer at SiriusPoint.

Darryl joined SiriusPoint in May 2021 to lead the Company’s technology integration and develop an efficient and scalable operating platform across the global business. Darryl is also responsible for the development of the MGA operating platform which supports SiriusPoint’s strategic partnerships, and for maximizing the value of SiriusPoint’s insurtech partnerships and investments.

Darryl serves as a Board Member for a number of companies in the SiriusPoint strategic partnerships portfolio, within the Company’s Insurance & Services segment. These include Avinew, LuckyTruck and Broker Buddha. Darryl joined SiriusPoint from ProSight Specialty Insurance Group, a specialty insurance company, where he served as Chief Technology and Operations Officer. At ProSight, he was responsible for leveraging technology and operations to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the ProSight Operating platform. As President of ProSightDirect, he launched an Insurtech platform that provided small business professionals with a simple insurance buying experience and a fully online end-to-end servicing platform. Prior to ProSight, Darryl ran Marketing, Sales, and Communications during the early growth stage at Tesla when the Roadster was launched. Prior to Tesla, Darryl held various executive roles at Fireman’s Fund / Allianz and started his career as a consultant at Mercer Management Consulting.

Jimmy Yang, Interim General Counsel

Jimmy Yang is Interim General Counsel at SiriusPoint. He brings over two decades of legal expertise to the role, with a focus on capital markets, corporate governance, and disclosure issues.

Jimmy previously held the positions of Deputy General Counsel and Deputy Corporate Secretary at Better.com, and was a Managing Director and General Counsel of Citigroup’s Corporate Reporting and Capital Markets team. During his time at Citi, he served as legal lead for its public filings and disclosures, and was lead counsel for Citi's benchmark debt offerings.

Before Citigroup, Jimmy worked at Merck, and began his legal career at Thacher Proffitt & Wood, where he specialized in structured finance.

Jimmy holds a B.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.

Steve Yendall, Chief Financial Officer

Steve Yendall was appointed Chief Financial Officer at SiriusPoint in October 2022. Steve has an accomplished financial background with twenty-five years of re/insurance industry experience. Throughout this time, he has delivered growth, profitability and strategic transformation for leading North American property and casualty insurers.

Before joining SiriusPoint, Steve was Managing Director at Guy Carpenter, Canada and North America where he was responsible for building and executing the organization’s operating plan, capability development and revenue growth.

Before that he was CFO and COO at RSA Canada Group, where he also served as a member of RSA Canada Group of Companies Board of Directors, and RSA Insurance Agency Inc. Board of Directors. In his role at RSA Canada Group, Steve was responsible for setting and driving the company’s performance against annual operating plans and long-term strategic priorities.

Steve has also held numerous financial, operational and insurance advisory roles throughout his career at companies including Ernst & Young, and Accenture. In these earlier roles, Steve was responsible for driving the insurance advisory practice build-out, including strategy, offerings, investments and capacity, and delivering operational plan targets.

Ming Zhang , Chief Investment Officer

Ming Zhang is SiriusPoint’s Chief Investment Officer.

Ming was previously Chief Investment Officer of Third Point Reinsurance Ltd. Prior to joining Third Point Re, Ming served as Senior Vice President, Head of Insurance and Product Risk Management at MetLife Inc., with responsibility for MetLife’s global insurance risk management, product risk and pricing oversight, and product and case approvals.

Prior to joining MetLife, Ming worked at American International Group from 2011 to 2019, where he most recently served as Senior Managing Director, Chief Market Risk Officer, responsible for AIG’s global market risk management, strategy and oversight, while also heading AIG’s Group Internal Capital program and Portfolio Analytics for AIG Investments. Previous to AIG, Ming worked as an engagement manager at Oliver Wyman, covering financial services clients.

Ming holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University.
